a few non-therapy tidbits

Therapy for deep feelers, big thinkers, and those ready to break free.

I'm Lesley (she/her)—a Licensed Professional Counselor, coach, and your personal hype-person (who also won’t hesitate to lovingly call you out when you need it). My work is for those who think deeply, feel intensely, and know they’re meant for more—but keep running into the same frustrating patterns, self-doubt, or external expectations that make it hard to trust themselves.

I believe we’re all shaped by the systems we live in—family dynamics, cultural norms, oppressive structures, and the chaos of the world around us. So if you’re struggling, it’s not because something is wrong with you. It’s because you’ve been contorted into someone you were told you should be, instead of allowed to be who you actually are. My job? To help you unbind, stretch, and expand into the self you were always meant to be—one who trusts their own voice, lives with integrity, and stops shrinking to fit a mold that was never yours in the first place.

Because there is space in this world for you to be your biggest, boldest self. The world needs who you were born to be. Now more than ever.

How I Work:
Therapy with me is both deep and practical, introspective and action-oriented. We’ll explore the roots of what’s been holding you back and develop real, tangible ways to move forward. My approach blends:

  • Traditional therapeutic frameworks like Psychodynamic/Psychoanalytic, Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

  • Unconventional tools like Astrology, Tarot, Human Design, and the Enneagram (when clients are open to them). These aren’t just fun extras—they’re powerful systems that can help you understand yourself on a deeper level and validate what you’ve always felt but never had words for.

Above all, I believe healing happens best when you feel seen, understood, and able to bring your full self into the room—without needing to over-explain, shrink, or mask.

What It’s Like To Work With Me:
I will absolutely be your cheerleader. I will also, when necessary and in your best interest, therapeutically kick your ass. Therapy with me is an active process—you won’t just be talking into the void. Sometimes it’ll feel like a deep, life-changing conversation with a bestie. Other times, it’ll feel like I’m holding up a mirror to things you’d rather not see. Healing is messy. Growth is uncomfortable. But you don’t have to do it alone. And it is so worth it.

If you're ready to trust yourself, untangle old conditioning, and step into the fullest version of who you are—let’s talk.
